Hola!

    We are Rie, José and Pura and we live in Tokyo. After several years being friends and working together elbow to elbow, we are embarking on a new project: La Concha Latina Tokyo. Do you want to learn more about it? Keep on reading! :) 

    We want to open a cantina and restaurant that will also be a cultural center with latino character in Tachikawa, Tokyo, for the Spanish speaking community to feel at home when gathering together. We know from our own experience that people miss a lot of things when living in a foreign country - family, friends … but two things that always unite us are food and drinks from our native countries, which sometimes are difficult to get or prepare.  

    With Concha Latina Tokyo we want to bring the tastes and scents of Latin-American food to those far from home, and provide a place where Japanese people can experience authentic Latin-American cuisine and culture. 

    At Concha Latina Tokyo, our doors are open to EVERYONE, regardless of age, nationality, ethnicity, gender, race, religion ... It's a place where everyone is welcome! Especially, we hope that Latin-American cuisine lovers will enjoy our food, drinks, and cultural events, and if you've never had Latin cuisine before, give us a try, you will probably leave a Latin cuisine lover! 

    We are also open to groups that wish to participate in cultural activities such as cooking lessons, zumba, yoga, Spanish, flamenco … as well as art exhibitions. 

    A primary and immediate objective is to boost Latin-American culture in this area, to introduce it to the people of Tachikawa and its surrounding towns. We also want to be the meeting point for all latino culture lovers, and our most important goal, that people can feel at ease in a place created for and by them. We believe it’s necessary because the Latin community in this part of Tokyo needs a place to meet and be comfortable in a cozy environment. Along with this, we want to promote Latin-American cuisine and culture to our neighbors who might have seen it in movies or on TV, but have never had the chance to experience it first hand. 

    Nowadays in Tachikawa and the surrounding region, there are no Latin-American restaurants - except for a few Mexican ones, and we have noticed that the demand of this kind of restaurant is rising. As we all know, the restaurants that offer this kind of food are located in the center of Tokyo, which means that the people in the Tachikawa vicinity need to travel all the way to inner Tokyo to enjoy these delicious bites. 

    We want to enrich the developing food culture of our area by increasing the variety available: there are many Japanese bars and restaurants and various types of cuisines from Europe and Asia, but La Concha Latina will be the first focusing on authentic Latin-American cuisine and beverages, as well as offering a venue to participate in different cultural activities. 

    We have now found a prime location for our cantina, restaurant, and cultural center, right by Tachikawa Station, and we have also secured a loan from our local bank. However, while this loan is enough to cover the initial expenses required to open this unique establishment, it is not quite enough to cover all the costs required to set up La Concha Latina to its full potential - we need your help to achieve this vision. We are also looking for new ways of promoting our endeavor and of letting everybody in Tachikawa and its surrounding area know about this unique dining, drinking, and cultural adventure being created for them.

    Somos Rie, José y Pura y vivimos en Tokyo. Después de muchos años siendo amigos y trabajando juntos codo con codo, nos hemos embarcado en un nuevo proyecto: La Concha Latina Tokyo. ¿Quieren saber más sobre él? ¡Sigan leyendo! :) 

    Queremos abrir un restaurante y centro cultural con carácter latino en Tachikawa, Tokyo, para la comunidad hispanohablante, para que se sienta en casa cuando se reúnan. Sabemos por experiencia propia que se echan de menos muchas cosas cuando se vive en un país extranjero: familia, amigos… pero dos cosas que nos unen a todos son la comida y la bebida de nuestro país de origen, que a veces es difícil de conseguir o preparar. 

    Con La Concha Latina Tokyo queremos traer los sabores y olores de la comida Latino Americana a esas personas que están lejos de casa, y proporcionar a la población japonesa un lugar donde experimentar auténtica cocina y cultura Latino Americanas. 

    En nuestro restaurante y centro cultural nuestras puertas están abiertas A TODO EL MUNDO sin importar la edad, nacionalidad, etnia, género, raza, religión… ¡Es un lugar donde todo el mundo es más que bienvenido! En especial, esperamos que los amantes de la cocina Latino Americana disfruten de nuestra comida, bebida y eventos culturales, y si nunca han tenido la oportunidad de degustar la cocina Latino Americana, ¡pruébenos!, porque seguramente saldrá de nuestro local siendo un amante de la cocina latina. 

    También abrimos a grupos que quieran participar en actividades culturales como clases de cocina, zumba, yoga, español, flamenco… así como exposiciones de arte. 

    Nuestro objetivo principal es promocionar la cultura Latino Americana en esta área, y presentársela a la población de Tachikawa y alrededores. También queremos ser el punto de encuentro para todos los amantes de la cultura latina, y nuestra meta más importante, que la gente se sienta a gusto en un lugar creado por y para ellos. Creemos que es necesario porque la comunidad latina en esta zona de Tokyo necesita un lugar para reunirse y estar cómoda en un lugar agradable. Además, queremos promocionar la cocina y cultura Latino Americanas a nuestro vecinos que lo hayan visto en la TV o en películas, pero nunca han tenido la oportunidad de experimentarlo de primera mano. 

    Actualmente en Tachikawa y alrededores no hay restaurantes Latino Americanos, a excepción de algunas cantinas mexicanas, y hemos podido comprobar que la demanda de este tipo de restaurantes está creciendo. Como sabemos, los restaurantes que ofrecen este tipo de comida están localizados en el centro de Tokyo, lo que significa que los habitantes de Tachikawa tengan que desplazarse hasta el centro de Tokyo para disfrutar de estos deliciosos bocados. 

    Queremos contribuir al desarrollo de la incipiente cultura culinaria en esta zona: hay muchos bares y restaurantes japoneses y varios tipos de gastronomía de Europa y Asia, pero La Concha Latina será la primera en enfocarse en auténtica cocina y bebida latinoamericanas, así como ofrecer un sitio para participar en diferentes eventos culturales. 

    Hemos encontrado una excelente ubicación para nuestro centro cultural, muy cerca de la estación de Tachikawa, y hemos asegurado un préstamo con nuestro banco local. Sin embargo, este dinero no es bastante para cubrir todos los gastos requeridos para la creación de un nuevo restaurante. Además, estamos buscando nuevas formas de promocionar nuestro proyecto y dar a conocer en Tachikawa y alrededores este nuevo espacio creado para ellos. Por todo esto, necesitamos vuestra ayuda para hacer nuestro sueño realidad. Por supuesto, agradecemos todas sus aportaciones, incluso si son pequeñas, ¡serán recompensadas!

私たち3人の名前はホセ、プーラ、リエといって、東京に住んでいるシェフ仲間です。

プーラとリエはホセの弟子であり、同時に私たちは十年来の友人であり、いつか一緒にお店を作ることを夢見ながらそれぞれの道を歩いて来ました。

そして遂に今、私たちのプロジェクトはConcha Latina Tokyo＝コンチャ・ラティーナ！！

このプロジェクトを立ち上げた理由

スペイン語を母国語とする人々が、心を開放して寛げるように、東京の立川市にラテンバーレストランと文化センターをオープンしたいと考えています。私たち自身の経験から、外国に住んでいると家族や友人など多くのことをとても恋しく思うことがあります。誰もがホッとできるのは、自身の国の食べ物や飲み物、言葉ですが、スペイン語圏の出身者がそれを日本に居ながら楽しむチャンスは非常に少ないのです。

またラテンアメリカへの関心が高まっていることから、東京の多摩地域からラテンアメリカ料理を発信するだけでなく、ダンスを始めとするラテンアメリカの文化と雰囲気を、一般の人々に知ってもらいたいと考えています。

誰のためのものか

コンチャ•ラティーナ•トーキョーは、年齢、国籍、民族、ジェンダー、人種、宗教を問わず、どなたにも門戸が開かれています。特に、ラテンアメリカ料理愛好家の皆様に、私たちの食べ物、飲み物、文化イベントを楽しんでいただきたいと願っています。

また、多目的スペースを備えているため、料理教室、ズンバ、ヨガ、サルサ、スペイン語などの文化活動や美術展等の開催を希望するグループも歓迎しています。

目的

私たちの目的は、まずはラテンアメリカ出身者に集ってもらうこと。

最も重要なことは、ラテンアメリカ圏の人々が、自分の文化を尊重した場所で安心できることです。

そして、立川周辺の中南米文化を盛り上げ、皆さんに知ってもらうのも目的のひとつ。

コンチャ・ラティーナ・トーキョーは、ラテン文化愛好家の出会いの場になりたいと考えています。

必要な理由

東京のこの地域のラテンコミュニティが集まり、居心地の良い環境で快適に過ごせる場所が必要であると考えています。さらに、ラテンアメリカについてもっと知りたい好奇心旺盛な人々に、情報を提供したいのです。

どのニーズをカバーするか

現在、立川とその周辺には、一部のメキシカンレストランを除いてラテンアメリカンレストランはありませんが、昨今ラテン料理の需要が高まっていることに気付きました。

しかしそのようなレストランはすべて東京の中心部に位置しているため、立川周辺の地域の人々は、わざわざ都心まで出向かなければいけません。

コンチャ・ラティーナ・トーキョーがあれば、もっともっと身近な場所で料理を味わい、仲間と語り合えます。

まとめ

日本の典型的な居酒屋やレストランが立ち並び、さまざまな種類の料理がある立川地域ですが、ラテンアメリカ料理が抜けていました。飲食だけでなく、さまざまな文化活動に参加できるユニークなスペースも提供したいと考えています。

必要なリソース (技術設備とインフラ)

ケータリングに必要な機器は非常に高価であり、新しいスペースに高品質の電化製品を供給するには多額の投資が必要です。また、新しい定置のために新しい家具を改装し、装飾し、購入する必要があります。また、将来のイベントのための音響設備も必要です。上記のすべてについて、この夢を実現するための手段と資金が限られているため、あなたの助けが必要です。すべての援助に心から感謝申し上げます。
